Trio embarks on multi-media project showcasing our incredible Executive Chef, Leon Bahlmann, and one of his tasty creations: Monkfish Medallions with Saffron Risotto & Spring Vegetables.

Hosted by Bonnie Rabicoff, this unique foodie series airs on its namesake web site featuring HD video segments.  It also has a radio interview component airing on the weekend.

“Color Convergence” Art by David Gross

Beginning June 28th & continuing through August 14th, Trio will be featuring works by KC artist David Gross.  Over his 30 year career, he is known for his landscape oils and great sense of color.

In this show more recent abstract works are featured, including acrylics, multi-media, and watercolors. Strongly influenced by the Fauve movement; Gross journeys into the world of abstract expressionism creating in his works a balance between the organic reality of the “place” and “non-representation” by juxtaposition of geometric shapes, layers of texture and bold color.

New Wine List - Great New Wines & Layout

Trio’s revamped wine list  first appeared on 9/21/09.  We added lots of new wines with some exceptional sparkling wines as well.  Many are modestly priced; although there are also higher valued wines.  More selections are available by the glass as well as bottle.

The list is re-organized too!   The Reserve category has been removed.  Each style of wine is classified [ humorously], as choosing a wine should be fun.  We hope it’s easier to select just the right wine for the mood, the moment & your favorite foods!

Got Lunch? Trio Does!

Trio is now open for lunch, Monday through Friday, 11 AM to 2 PM. Our menu features our most popular appetizers, small plates & cracker crust pizzas, and a great selection of salads. Chef Leon has created a list of fantastic sandwiches [including a juicy steak burger & traditional Reuben- seen here] and we’ve included some lunch sized versions of our most popular entrees as well. Pricing ranges from $8 to $16 [except steaks] - a small price for Trio deliciousness! Lunch on the deck is an even greater treat!
